Seminar title:Nature,Open Access and You
Summary:A guide for researchers for getting their research published and noticed. Includes how to get published in Nature and other top-tier journals, an introduction to open access, An summary of the open access options that Nature Publishing Group offers and the factors researchers should consider when selecting a journal to which to submit their paper.
Speakers:
Nick Campbell, Executive Editor, Nature(main speaker);
other Nature journal editorial and publishing colleagues from the UK and China.
Target audience:researchers with an interest in publishing in Nature and international journals generally, including graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and faculty/group leaders.
Duration:approximately one hour with two presentations and time for questions and interaction with the audience
