报告人简介(中文):戴夫•兰斯塔夫博士在攻读南安普顿大学电子工程学学位期间为微电子科研组建立了用于半导体表征的自动检测系统。之后,他在微电子科研组内为沃尔福森工程单位和英国科学与工程研究理事会资助建立的设计中心工作,同时运用CAD数据整理技术为常规硅器件进行电子束曝光。 兰斯塔夫博士于1990年前往阿伯里斯特威斯,为一个联合项目设计集成电路,以实现电荷探测器阵列在质谱分析中的应用。之后又推动了这一探测器阵列在电子谱学上的应用,并于2006年被任命为英国先进功能材料和设备中心的高级电镜主管。随后他主导了包括开发用于表面膜研究的偏振光椭圆率测量仪、火焰前缘监测用电离检测器等在内的一系列项目,并取得了巨大的成功。
报告人简介(英文):Dr.Dave Langstaff gained his first degree in electronic engineering at Southampton University, with a final year project developing an automated test system for characterisation of semiconductor devices produced in the Microelectronics Group. He went on to work in the Microelectronics Group at Southampton, working for the Wolfson Industrial Unit and the SERC funded Design Centre at Southampton there as well as a work with CAD data preparation for Electron Beam Lithography for custom silicon devices. He moved to Aberystwyth in 1990 on a LINK funded project to design an Integrated Circuit to implement a Charge Detector Array for applications in Mass Spectroscopy. Following the successful conclusion of the project, he joined a project to further develop the detector array concept for applications in Electron Spectroscopy. He was appointed as Senior Experimental Officer to CAFMaD in 2006 and has subsequently led a number of instrumentation projects in IMAPS including an imaging ellipsometer for study of surface films; an ionisation detector for flame front monitoring, a dipping furnace for in-situ x-ray studies of ceramics and an aerodynamic levitating furnace for study of high temperature liquids.
