Internet of Things (IoTs) are more and more widely used for many practical applications such as air pollution monitoring, area monitoring, environmental sensing, and forest fire detection, etc.. Relaying and cooperation have emerged as effective solutions to satisfy the stringent requirements of advanced IoT networking applications. In this talk, we specifically study the relaying mechanisms and potential benefits of node cooperation for IoT networking. Specifically, we propose some categories of networking schemes to coordinate the network and enhance IoT communications. The system evaluation is conducted. Overall system performance (e.g., throughput, end-to-end delay, security, capacity) is improved by applying our proposed networking schemes over IoTs.
