The Communist Youth League and Student Union
The Communist Youth League and Student Union of Fine Art Academy of Shanghai University work under the leadership of Committee of the Chinese Communist Party of the Academy, their tenets are to train mothball members of the Party Union, strengthen the atmosphere of culture and academy, enrich the students' lives and exerting students' strong suits.
The Communist Youth League of the academy is composed of secretariat and associate secretariat, 7 member branches, the organizational department and the propagandistic department. The Student Union is made of 8 sections, they are presidium, section of study etc. There are 9 members in the Committee and Student Union respectively. In order to train excellent student cadres effectively, The Committee and Student Union have drawn their own rules to be executed.
Many popular activities were organized by the group, such as art festivals, meetings of welcoming new arrivals, charity activities of donating paintings and so on. The group also takes part in activities of martial practicing and bloods donating, publishing journals of their own.
Their objectives are to serve students and originating a new place of campus culture. They try to be a good friend of the students and a good assistant of the Committee of Communist Party of the Academy.
