The Ceramic Studio was established in 2000 by a Chinese ceramic artist who graduated from the Alfred University of the United States. The means of educational management, level of production and the establishment of arts and crafts interpenetrate with world and it is equipped with an integrated exchange system of the world ceramic artists.

The studio focuses on the exploration of contemporary ceramic arts, which is divided into sculpture and functional pottery. The studio offers selective courses of ceramic arts and provides master degree program and advanced studies of students from all over the world. The educational objectives are to train the students who are familiar with the spirit of Chinese ceramic arts and are able to produce fine art works through the medium of ceramic therefore to introduce the Chinese culture to the world, and to promote international arts and culture exchanges.

Academic Objectives
Students should systematically be aware of the fundamental knowledge of the ceramic arts, be familiar with the process and the creative methods of ceramic arts, obtain the ability to produce works independently, and have their own individual academic approach.
