In the 21st century, transferring and obtaining information and multi-direction feedbacks are important to the advanced art education in Shanghai. The College of Fine Arts has been thinking much for domestic and foreign exchanges all through out the ages. We bring out the artistic influence via the schooling achievements and the woks done by the faculty and the students. In this way, we will spread Chinese culture and art all over the world; seek to work together for developing the art education in China. We have successively established long-time exchange relations with some schools of art in Japan, Britain and the United States to exchange and visit each other. We have also held a variety of faculty and student art exhibitions, seminars on academic researches and sent the faculty and students to visit and exchange abroad.

The College of Fine Arts has received scholarship donation for assisting the teaching programs from the social successful people or the enterprises as assistant means to cultivate the students and promote the creative teaching methods. We have established the Cai Guanshen International Long-Distance Art Exchange Center and Wang Jialian Art Scholarship, which is named after Mr. Wang Jialian, Chairman of the Board of the United States CA. Ltd.
