Graduate Program

College of fine art offers Master's degree in two areas, one is in Fine Art and the other is Art Design. In 1997, we began to enroll graduates students from all over the country. Up till now, there are over 60 graduates students graduated from the college. The main research areas are: Contemporary Chinese Painting, up-frame Painting, Sculpture, Theory of Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Environmental Design, Mural, Ceramic art, Multimedia Design, Glass Art and Architectural Design. We carry out the advisor system for cultivating the graduates and set various degree courses and non-degree courses, even the cross-major courses. Besides, we organize academic exchanges, hold college seminars and invite artists both from home and abroad to give lectures. At the same time, we spare no efforts to provide the students with the opportunities of taking part in social arts works and exchange activities. The graduate students could constructively plunge into the designing for the crucial engineering projects of society or the municipal government and win the entry tickets and even the prizes in series of international or domestic exhibitions of fine arts. In addition, the graduate students will participate in teaching practice under the guidance of advisors. Thus, they could improve their professional teaching level continuously.
